SCOTT
DAVIS - Original Founder
Scott Davis, original founder of Strictly Hoops Basketball
club has served as a club, high school, junior college and
university basketball coach over the past 12 years. Coach
Davis started out coaching at his alma mater, Terra Linda
HS before moving on to College of Marin as an assistant coach.
He was the assistant women's basketball coach at St. Mary's
College of Moraga where his defense skills helped the team
advance to a 2nd round NCAA appearance. Two years later, he
returned to Marin to lead the Dominican University Women’s
Basketball program to national prominence. In three seasons
at Dominican, Scott accumulated an overall record of 81-20
and was California Pacific Conference Champions and Coach
of the year both in 2004 and 2005 and made the NAIA II Sweet
16.
Coach
Davis has been a part of AAU and Club ball both as a coach
and tournament director. He started Strictly Hoops in 2002
when he realized a need for a good program in Marin County.
Through the years he has helped 32 players obtain Division
I scholarships and has amassed an overall record of 174-41.
Coach
Davis holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and Teaching
Credential from Dominican University and a Bachelor degree
in Kinesiology from Sonoma State. He and his wife Roxanne, son Carson and SH mascot their beagle Daisy
have relocated to Southern California to take on his new role as head Women's basketball coach at Cal Poly Pomona.

MIKE
FULTON - Basketball Director
Mike Fulton is currently the Head Girl’s Basketball
Coach at The Branson School. In his first season, Coach Fulton
led the Bulls to the league championship. In his second season,
the Bulls reached the NorCal semi-finals after winning the
North Coach Section Championship. Prior to Branson, Coach
Fulton put College of Marin Women’s Basketball on the
map by guiding his team to back to back state appearances;
once reaching the Elite 8 and once the Final 4. Coach Fulton
was also named Northern California Junior College Coach of
the Year.

ROXANNE
DAVIS - Director of Operations
Roxanne
Davis, co-director of Strictly Hoops Basketball club was introduced
to the world of basketball when she met Scott in 2001. Since
then, she has been an integral part of the program handling
all the off the court part of the club.
When not
working with Strictly Hoops Roxanne wears many hats. She is
mommy to Carson the Davis' infant son, works as a project
manager for Cisco Systems and is the founder and owner of
Clutter Debugger a professional organizing business. She holds
a BS degree in Business with Honors from CSU Monterey Bay.

DAN
LUCIA - 7th Grade Girls Coach
Dan Lucia
is a legend in Marin County for his incredible athletic ability.
He was inducted into the Marin County Hall of Fame in 2005
for his participation in High School football, basketball
and baseball and his five years of professional baseball (1977
to 1981) with the Atlanta Braves organization at A, AA and
AAA levels.
Coach Lucia has been coaching basketball since 2001. He has
coached both CYO and Strictly Hoops AAU ball where he has
amassed a combined CYO record 51-7, (5th Grade Nor Cal Champs)
and AAU record 30-12 (qualified for AAU National Tournament
for under 10). Coach Lucia has also been involved in many
youth baseball clinics and High School freshmen baseball at
Tam H.S.
Most importantly
Coach Lucia is a husband to his very supportive wife Carrie
and a father and coach to his two daughters Allie & Sarah
who have enjoyed him both on and off the court. Coach Dan
is a stellar example of a father being a coach and knowing
what is best for the whole of a team and program.

JOE
CORBY - 6th Grade and High School Girls Coach
Joe Corby
got his start coaching basketball in 1994 when he coached
and refereed for Novato Parks & Recreation. Since then
he has stayed active as an assistant coach at Dominican University,
and JV coach at Redwood HS, San Rafael HS & San Marin
HS. Coach Corby has been a part of club ball since 2000 and
with Strictly Hoops since 2003 and has been involved in numerous
clinics and camps for youths.
Coach
Corby holds a BA degree from Sonoma State in Kinesiology and
is an accomplished golfer earning his Specialized Associate
Degree in Professional Golf Management from the Professional
Golfers Career College, Temecula, CA.

GILLESPIE- 6th Grade Girls Coach

CORRIE
JOHNSON- Coach
Corrie
Johnson started coaching with Strictly Hoops four years ago.
She was named Marin Catholics Head Freshmen Coach in 2004
where they had 2005-2006 overall record of 22-2 and undefeated
in league talking first place. In 2006-2007 Coach Johnson
was the assistant Varsity coach at TAM High School where they
made the playoff's for the first time in 14 years.
Coach
Johnson played basketball for four years at Dominican University
spending her first two years under Michele Brovelli and last
two years under Coach Davis. Coach Johnson feels that being
coached by two amazing individuals is what has set her foundation
and philosophy for coaching.
Coach
Johnson has her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with
an emphasis in Sports from Dominican University. Her ultimate
coaching goal is to someday be at the colligate level.
